Winter in Sweden is beautiful, and it is also COLD! That means sweaters, scarfs, jackets...... how do you wear jewellery with all that? Here are my top tips after experimenting for 2 cold seasons....
LAYER, LAYER, LAYER
I love layering necklaces, either long on top of a sweater, or short with a V neck or a Crew neck. EXTRA POINTS for convertible pieces. The long chain I am wearing in the picture above can be doubled for a short necklace or wrapped around the wrist as a bracelet. The Leather necklace can be worn short as well. I add a few layered bracelets as well, they are the easiest to wear during the cold seasons!!
Shorter necklaces layer great too! Wear with a V neck and add a scarf for when you are outside, or wear with a crew neck and let the necklaces peak out..
BONUS: The chunky chain doubles as a bracelet.
These signature necklaces will take you through all seasons, and you can alternate them or wear them together for different looks.
You can also layer different lengths, and different materials. Here is the leather again, I love putting a gold pendant on leather, it makes it instantly more mellow, and you can adjust it to any length!!

GO BIG
Another fun thing about winter is that you can go a bit bigger with your jewelry, since the clothes are bulkier. I love this look for a bit more formal:
BRACELETS
Bracelets are great: they don't get in the way of the clothing layers.. Top tip: Look for CONVERTIBLE pieces : they work as both necklace and a bracelet :-))) The chunky chain is the same as the necklace above, and the silk wrap can be worn as a necklace.

EARRINGS
Look for earrings with secure closures, either a push on back or a "leverback", which is a hook that closes in the back. And be careful with the scarf ..
